This place has the BEST Chinese food in town. The owner/manager is a bit abrasive but don't let that deter you. Honey/ Walnut shrimp? OMG!! How do they make it so succulent and crackly/crispy at the same time? It's so amazing. The House Special Fried Rice? Nowhere else even comes close!! I could eat that for days, Everything we've ordered has been exactly what we expected. Very generous portions. There's really no reason to go anywhere else.

If you are willing to wear your big-girl/big-boy pants, this is a gem of a place. It is, as another reviewer notes, old-school Chinese food. It is very consistent preparation and a great value. You simply won't find better ethnic food in Yakima at these menu prices. As some folks have noted, the service can be a challenge to the experience, if you let it be. On the other hand, if you're used to dining in places like NYC or all of France, you won't bat an eye at the service. Said another way, your wait staff is human, and their problems --who knows what they've lived through? -- only become yours if you let them become your problem. If you can roll with the changing winds of service and just enjoy the consistently good food and the extreme value, check it out! If you can get a smile out of the harried staff, consider it your tip.

This is my new GO TO for CHINESE food!! They absolutely nailed it! I've been trying to find Hong Kong Style chow mein in Yakima and this is the best you're gonna get without driving to Seattle. People comment that they're expensive, but the food is legit and NOT OVERPRICED!! You get family style portions, or obese, if you can't handle portion control. I ordered the general Taos spicy, the house special chow mein, and the wor wonton soup. I tipped well because I want this restaurant to stay open so that I have someplace close to go for delicious food! It was FAST like it is supposed to be and was NOT BLAND like most Chinese restaurants! I highly recommend this place. It felt like going back in time when I walked in the restaurant because the building is old, but the character was there and I knew I was going to get amazing food! They won't disappoint!

Excellent service, excellent value for the money. Not the absolute best Chinese food I've ever had but it's good and probably the best in Yakima. I've been here enough to know the owners are really nice, but there is definitely a language barrier. I wouldn't try ordering over the phone.
